Game key regions: Global, EU and region-locked keys
A game key can be sold for one part of the world only. The price looks better because it was set for another country, and the key then refuses to activate on an account outside that region. This is the single most expensive mistake when buying from a key shop, and it is the reason this site exists.
What the region on a key means
The region is set by the publisher, not by the shop. A key sold as Global has no restriction. A key sold as EU or Europe activates on accounts in those countries. A key sold for Turkey, Argentina, Brazil or Russia activates only there — and the platform checks the account, not the shop you bought from, so a VPN at the moment of activation does not make the key yours to keep.
Official stores do not have this problem in the same way: they sell you the game in the storefront of your own country, at that country's price.
Which keys we count as available in the EU
Only the ones where the seller states a region that covers the EU: EU, Global, Europe, US & Canada, Europe & US, Europe & UK. Everything else — including a key with no region stated at all — is listed separately on the game page, with a warning, and is never used as the lowest price.
A missing region is not a small thing. The seller had a field for it and left it empty; whether the key works is then a guess, and we don't make that guess for you.

If you bought the wrong region
The platform will refuse the code, usually with a message about the country of your account. The key is not consumed, so it can still be sold or used by someone in that region — which is why a refund is between you and the shop, under the shop's own rules. We don't sell keys and cannot refund anything.
Where the region is shown on this site
Next to every offer, as a chip: a green one when the key activates in the EU, a warning when it does not. The same information is in the structured data of the page, so it is not something you have to hunt for.
