How we collect prices

What we compare

Prices for game keys and downloads in official stores — Steam, GOG and Humble Store — and in key shops: the Kinguin marketplace and the Instant Gaming reseller. We don't sell keys and don't take payments.

Who the prices are for

Buyers in the EU. Official store prices come from the German storefront, in euros. A key from a key shop counts as available to EU buyers only when the seller states a region that activates in the EU: EU, Europe or Global. Keys for other regions, and keys with no stated region, are shown separately with a warning.

How often

Key shops and discounts are checked every six hours, the full Steam catalogue once a day. Every offer shows when it was last checked. An offer we haven't confirmed for 48 hours is no longer shown as current.

Marketplace prices

On a marketplace, the price is the lowest offer from third-party sellers at the time of the check. The seller with the lowest price can change between checks.

Editions, platforms and add-ons

A Deluxe edition, an Xbox key and an add-on are different products, even under the same name, and we compare them separately. For example, the Digital Deluxe Edition of Baldur's Gate 3 on Steam is an upgrade for owners of the game, while a key shop may sell the full Deluxe game under the same name.

Price history

We record a price every time it changes; our history starts on 10 September 2026. The lowest recorded price on a game page is the lowest price for EU buyers in that history, and the chart shows the lowest price for each day.

What we don't do

No paid placement: offers are always sorted by price. We don't publish reviews.
