Privacy

This site does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, this page will say so first.

Like any website, our web server records technical logs of requests: IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time. We use them only to keep the site secure and working, keep them for 14 days and don't share them.

When you use the search box, the words you type are written to a separate log, with the time and how many games matched — and nothing else: no IP address, no browser, no identifier of any kind, so the search is not tied to you or to your other requests. We read it for one reason: to see which games people look for and we don't list yet. Only what you stop typing on is recorded, not every keystroke, and it is kept for the same 14 days.

When you follow a link to a store, you leave this site, and the store's own privacy policy applies.

Price alerts work through our Telegram bot @CritBuyBot, never through this site. If you set one, the bot stores your Telegram chat ID, the game and the price you chose with its currency, and the language to write to you in — nothing else, not your name or phone number. An alert is deleted as soon as it has been sent, and the command /stop deletes all of yours at once. We use this only to send the alerts you asked for. When you search the bot for a game we do not have, we log the words you typed, without your chat ID, to learn which games to add. Telegram itself handles the messages under its own privacy policy.
